“I beam with great pride every year witnessing SMEs constantly striving to move to the next level of excellence. While the 1-InnoCERT certification guides SMEs to implement systems, processes and business models that comply with the innovation standards; for the Award, the assessment is primarily based on their technological innovation, commercialization and innovation management abilities”, said YBhg. With such support and encouragement by the Government, our innovative SMEs will continue to be guided and facilitated towards business expansion and growth both locally and globally.

“As an entrepreneur among SMEs, one should understand that there is little difference between obstacle and opportunity and both of it can be turned into an advantage. Confidence and Commitment are what you need besides the assistance that is provided by SME Corp. Malaysia. Programs and certification such as the 1-Innocert have helped many companies including mine and they have proven successful”, shared Baharom Hamzah, Chief Executive Officer of Romstar Sdn Bhd; the RM1 million winner of the Top Most Innovative SME Award in 2013.
