SME Hub is a platform for SMEs and entrepreneurs to acquire knowledge, learn business best practices and obtain essential information on business start-up, market access, human capital development, financial resources, industry know-how, and various other business aspects.
To further enhance the services at SME Hub, the Ministry of Entrepreneur Development (MED) launched the Entrepreneurship One-Stop Centre (PSK) also known as PSK@SME Hub in October 2018.
PSK@SME Hub aims to equip SMEs with filtered and focused information and knowledge to aid the development of SMEs. Previously, the method of obtaining information on entrepreneurship was limited. Now with PSK@SME Hub, SMEs can access relevant information online and offline. Besides that, to ensure this initiative covers SMEs in rural areas, ‘SME Hub On-Wheels’ was developed to assist in providing business advisory services to SMEs that are located in these areas.
Information provided through this platform is not limited to programmes that are implemented by SME Corp. Malaysia, but also those under MED agencies, including TEKUN, INSKEN, Malaysia Co-operative Societies Commission (SKM), Cooperative Institute of Malaysia (IKM), SME Bank, Bank Rakyat, MaGIC and various financial institutions. The range of services offered at the SME Hub includes:
- Business advisory services
- SME Hub Links (collaboration with other Government agencies and organisations)
- Pocket Talk
- Info Centre (Info Mail, Info Line)
- Resource Centre
- SME Product Gallery
- Virtual SME Hub (SME Corp. Malaysia website, SMEinfo Portal)
