Objectives
To encourage the creation or innovation of products that can empower target groups such as B40, rural areas, youth, retirees, women, elderly and OKU by leveraging innovation elements. Financial assistance is provided in the form of grants to MSME innovators to empower target groups and encourage community transformation through guidance and technical support.

Scope of Assistance

• A maximum grant of RM200,000 for each innovator/entrepreneur for:
  • Intellectual property protection including prior art search;
  • Concept design and prototype development;
  • Production prototypes and regulatory;
  • Product testing and validation; and
  • Compliance and regulatory certification.

Eligibility Criteria

• Company registered with SSM/ROB or Ordinan Perlesenan Perdagangan for Sabah & Sarawak;
• 100% equity of the company is owned locally;
• Operating in a legitimate business premises; and
• Fulfil the 5 eligibility criterias for innovation products which are affordable, resilient, large-scale access, quality and focus on the target group.
