Background
The Micro Connector Programme is an initiative under the Program Pembangunan Perniagaan Usahawan Mikro (BizME) designed to enhance the efficiency and productivity of micro enterprises. This programme is implemented through Delivery Partner appointed by SME Corp. Malaysia comprising companies that offer competitive skills packages and technical support through training in selected focus areas.
Objective
Aims to provide competitive skills and technical support for micro enterprises to enhance their business efficacy.
- The target group is micro enterprises with annual sales of less than RM300,000 OR less than 5 full-time employees.
We are seeking for potential Delivery Partner that can offer packages in specific areas to enhance the competency and efficiency of micro enterprises in business operations.
Implementation Period:
Mac – September 2025 (7 months)
Requirement for Training Package to be Offered
The Micro Connector 2025 program shall focus on competitive skills & technical support and the proposed package should target participants from among registered business owners and from the inclusive entrepreneurs segment such as Persons with Disabilities and Orang Asli communities.
- Micro Enterprise
- Account management & applications, including e-invoicing
- Compliance & legal in business
- Increased efficiency specific to business sub-sectors such as smart agriculture, health & lifestyle, specialty food and handicrafts
- Micro Enterprise owned by inclusive communities such as Persons with Disabilities (OKU) and Orang Asli
- Digital Marketing
- Account management & application including e-invoicing
- Increased business efficiency as well as product & service offerings
Basic Eligibility Criteria for Implementation Partners of Micro Connector Programme 2025
Must fulfil the following criteria:
- Business registered with the Companies Commission of Malaysia under the Companies Act 1965 or 2016. (Association, Sole Proprietor and Limited Liability Partnership (PLT) are not eligible to apply).
- The company operates in legal business premises with business license from the Local Authority.
- At least 60% of equity owned by Malaysian citizen.
- The company has financial capacity and is required to submit an audited Financial Statement for at least one (1) year (latest).
- Applicants in the MSME category must submit the MSME Status Certificate (if not, to at least submit an application for MSME Status before the Expression of Interest (EOI) deadline) - compulsory to attach
- The company has experience in the related field for at least five (5) years with the exception of digital technology.
- The company with experience working with entrepreneurs from inclusive communities / having the ability to attract participation from these groups is an advantage.
Invitation
- The invitation is open to companies interested in offering related training packages and meeting the eligibility criteria as Delivery Partner for the Micro Connector Programme 2025. Interested applicants are required to complete the online Expression of Interest (EOI) form by 19 December 2024.

- Only shortlisted candidates shall be invited to attend the Micro Connector Programme 2025 Briefing Session at SME Corp. Malaysia.
- Only Project Proposals from applicants who have attended the Briefing Session shall be processed for the next step.
- After attending the Briefing Session, candidates must submit the Application Form and Project Proposal no later than 22 January 2025.

SME Corp. Malaysia reserves the right to accept or reject any Expression of Interest (EOI) submission. Only companies with EOI shall be considered for the next stage. The final selection shall be made by SME Corp. Malaysia’s Selection Committee and any decision made by the Committee is final.
