YB Dato’ Sri Mustapa Mohamed, Minister of International Trade and Industry (MITI) chaired the 4th SME Business Advisory Panel (SBAP) Meeting held at SME Corp. Malaysia today. With the aim of providing insights and views on enhancing SME development in Malaysia, this Meeting serves as a platform for industry players and subject matter experts to share their views and knowledge pertaining to entrepreneurship and SME development strategies, in order to spur the growth of SMEs in the country.
The meeting today deliberated on “Alternative Funding as an Enabler for Aspiring SMEs”, in line with the Government’s aspiration in closing the gap between start-ups and early stage financing. This meeting was attended by representatives from the private sector, business and industry associations, academicians, as well as relevant Government Ministries and Agencies. |
