Sharing Session on METI's Initiatives for Supporting
Female Entrepreneurs to Promote Women's Empowerment in Japan

 The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), Japan shared their views and experiences with SME Corp. Malaysia on how women are being empowered in Japan through SME promotion policies. With enormous changes in Japan’s economy, women are drawing attention as a possible driving force of economic growth.

New markets are expected to emerge as more women get involve in the development of new products and services, through various experiences and values. The anticipated decrease of working age population can also be moderated by the increase of women’s employment.
