On October 31, 2017, SME Corp. Malaysia in collaboration with the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM) has organized the "FMM SME Conference 2017" at Dewan Perdana, Menara MITI. Theme of 'Developing Productive and Innovative SMEs towards Internationalization and Industry 4.0', this conference was graced by YB Dato’ Sri Mustapa Mohamed, Minister of International Trade and Industry and more than 200 participants comprising representatives of Ministries, agencies, SME associations, FMM members and SMEs. As an initiative to help SMEs to better understand the Malaysia current economic situation and the SME industry, this conference discussed and analyzed the Budget 2018 for productivity, innovation and initiatives provided for SMEs moving towards of Industry 4.0, and also provided opportunities to participants in exchanging best practices and sharing knowledge.
