On November 12, 2018, SME Corp. Malaysia in collaboration with the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM) organised the FMM SME Conference 2018 at SME Corp. Malaysia. Themed 'Embrace Change, Invent the Future’, this Conference was officiated  by YB Datuk Seri Mohd Redzuan Yusof, Minister of Entrepreneur Development and attended by more than 100 participants comprising representatives of Ministries, agencies, SME associations, FMM members and entrepreneurs.

As a platform to help SMEs to better understand the current situation of the Malaysian economy and SMEs, this Conference discussed and analysed in-depth the 2019 Budget especially its impact on SMEs. It featured a line up of high profile panellists to discuss on productivity, innovation, assistance and initiatives provided for SMEs in order for them to move towards Industry 4.0, as well as giving the opportunity for participants to exchange information and best practices.
