SME Corp. Malaysia, an agency under the Ministry of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives (MEDAC) has collaborated with Pusat Pungutan Zakat-Majlis Agama Islam Wilayah Persekutuan (PPZ-MAIWP) to facilitate SMEs to pay their zakat on business. Following this collaboration, Majlis Zakat Usahawan 2020 was organised at Dewan Mahkota, SME Corp. Malaysia to encourage SMEs under the auspices of SME Corp. Malaysia to pay their business zakat at PPZ-MAIWP, as well as to provide the information in relation to business zakat to entrepreneurs who operates within the Federal Territory. In conjunction with the event, a zakat payment certificate was issued to all 20 SMEs who have paid their business zakat at PPZ-MAIWP totalling RM114,150. |
