Invitation for Expression of Interest (EOI) for Export Capacity Building Programme
Background and Objectives:
The Small and Medium Enterprises Corporation Malaysia (SME Corp. Malaysia) is a central coordinating agency under the Ministry of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives (KUSKOP), tasked with coordinating the implementation of development programs for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) across all relevant Ministries and Agencies. It serves as a reference center for research and data dissemination related to MSMEs and entrepreneurs, providing advisory services to MSMEs and entrepreneurs nationwide.
SME Corp. Malaysia places a focus on internationalizing MSMEs, encouraging the transformation of MSMEs into the global market by establishing a market-based framework.
To support this strategy, the MSMEs Export Enhancement Programme is implemented to assist MSMEs in internationalization activities and export capacity building.
The purpose of this Expression of Interest is to invite service-providing companies that meet the eligibility criteria to apply as Market Linkers for the MSMEs Export Enhancement Programme. Companies are required to submit project proposals based on the components and supporting documentation.
Eligibility Criteria for Market Linker
- Entities registered in Malaysia, including Sdn. Bhd., Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), Business Associations, and Cooperatives that are valid; OR international entities with experience and expertise in implementing related projects; AND
- Must have Audited Financial Statements (Registrar of Companies Malaysia – ROC) OR Certified Financial Statements for the Department of Registration of Organizations Malaysia (Registry of Societies of Malaysia – ROS) for the latest 2 years.
