In line with the theme of APEC 2020 ‘Optimising Human Potential Towards a Future of Shared Prosperity’, Malaysia as the host country for APEC 2020 cordially invites you to participate in the APEC Workshop on Young Entrepreneurs Kick-off which will be held from 18 - 19 February 2020 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This initiative aims at enhancing the entrepreneurial skills, and leadership of young entrepreneurs in business. This Workshop is also in tandem with APEC’s notion of economic empowerment of youths through creating sustainable entrepreneurship ecosystem.
The objectives of this Workshop are:
- To impart relevant knowledge, skills and exposures to young entrepreneurs to unleash their potentials in business
- To share ideas and experiences between the participants and select mentors from among successful entrepreneurs
- To provide networking opportunity among representatives from APEC economies with strategic partners, multinational corporations (MNCs) and potential investors
The 2-day Workshop comprises three (3) key sessions:
- Panel Discussions featuring panellists from among successful entrepreneurs and professionals in Digital Marketing, Innovation and SME Financing
- Mentoring Session with successful entrepreneurs
- Pitching Session with potential investors
(Selections of participants for the Pitching Session are based on complete submissions of application forms and on a first-come-first-serve basis)
