SME Corp. Malaysia released the SME Input-Output Table which was launched by Deputy Minister of Entrepreneur Development, YB Datuk Wira Dr. Mohd Hatta Md Ramli. The SME Input-Output Table describes the flows of SMEs and large firms’ products and services sold and bought in an economy. In other words, it reflects the relationship between producers and consumers as well as the inter-industry interactions.
The SME Input-Output Table publications serve as a good reference point for policy makers, academia and researchers. As the data is presented at aggregated level by size and by sector, researchers, analysts and policy makers could potentially unearth new possibilities to promote SME growth. Two (2) publications were released as follows:

- Describes the key findings and analysis of the study.
- The Report among others highlights the top domestic-linked SME industries with highest value-added creation and strongest inter-linkages with the domestic input suppliers.
- It also highlights the weak linkage between SMEs and large firms. For instance, in acquiring inputs, SMEs are dependent on large firms but large firms do not rely heavily on SMEs.
