INVITATION TO THE LAUNCHING OF "WHITEPAPER ON SME DIGITALISATION" [17 DECEMBER 2018, GRAND BALLROOM, THE ST REGIS]

SME Corp. Malaysia in collaboration with Huawei Malaysia has commissioned a study and publish a Whitepaper on SME Digitalisation using the titled of 'Accelerating Malaysian Digital SMEs: Escaping the Computerisation Trap'. The Whitepaper aims to gain insight on the readiness of SMEs in Digital Economy which includes eCommerce use, challenges and opportunities as well as support in terms of policy, infrastructure and development in digital. The Whitepaper on SME Digitalisation will be launched by YB Datuk Seri Redzuan Yusof, Minister of Entrepreneur Development (MED).
The provision of this "Whitepaper" is a partnership between SME Corp. Malaysia, Huawei Technologies (M) Sdn. Bhd, University of Consortia (UC) and consultants (IDC). This report is the result of the conducted survey '2018 Digitalisation Survey for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs)' while the preparation work of "Whitepaper" has been done by UC and IDC. This White Paper also proposes several approaches to help SMEs cross the 'digitalization chasm' and to uncover their full digital strength, with the help of public and private sectors.
